Peter KroghPeter Krogh is a photographer based in Washington DC. For more than 20 years, he has provided corporate, advertising, and editorial photography for clients worldwide. View his online portfolio.

Peter is a member of the Board of Directors of ASMP, the American Society of Media Photographers. He was the founder of ASMP's Digital Photography Standards and Practices Project. In the summer of 2007, Peter became a member of Microsoft's Icons of Imaging. This program honors photographers who are recognized around the world as leaders in their specialty area of photography.

Peter is also an Alpha tester for Adobe, with a particular focus on digital asset management and Adobe Bridge. He is the author of the best selling book, The DAM Book: Digital Asset Management for Photographers, published by O'Reilly Media in Nov. 2005 (ISBN: 0596100183).

Tom Nolan is a mathematician, software programmer, and lawyer. He writes on-board software for spacecraft for NASA, and practices Communication law. Tom and Peter were introduced by their elementary school-aged daughters Addie and Maddy.

Shayne BowmanShayne Bowman is the Chief User Experience Architect for iView Multimedia, makers of iView MediaPro, and is a leading authority on digital asset management tools for creative professionals.

Shayne has been working with iView for 5 years. During that time, his role included evangelizing iView at expos and workshops in the U.S. and Europe, as well as educating gurus who teach iView at workshops and seminars; creating iView documentation and training materials; developing features for iView’s DAM products; and more recently, creating a tutorial podcast for iView MediaPro.

Bowman is the co-author of two books on web design: Designing Web Sites That Sell by Peachpit Press (2002) and Web Design That Works by Rockport Publishers (2001). He also co-wrote several widely-recognized papers on citizen journalism and new media: We Media: How audiences are shaping the future of news and information (2002) and Amazoning the News (2001). He is the co-author of Hypergene MediaBlog, a weblog about participatory media and citizen journalism.
